A Virtual Tour of Charles Dickens Birthplace

Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum has created a virtual tour of the building that will bring the treasures of the house to a wider audience. The virtual tour DVD is now available for purchase. The DVD features a mix of still images and video of the house and its contents, reconstruction's by actors in costume and historic images from the Portsmouth Museum collection. It is fully interactive, the user can select any section to view, or freeze a frame to study the individual images.

The virtual tour is also suitable for people with a visual or hearing impairment as it has a full sound commentary and text on the screen.
