The Portsmouth Papers are a series of fascinating booklets on the history of individual aspects of the city's history, such as Portsmouth's origins, the Blitz, Thomas Ellis Owen's Southsea, local tramways and the many breweries. Each consists of 10,000-17,000 words of text, plus 10-25 illustrations, prepared by an expert who has delved deeply into the subject.
